The decision to modify your car has many considerations. At Method Sound in Costa Mesa, we are all about maintaining the original factory look, fit and function of the vehicle. At the same time, we also offer upgrades that require custom modifications as long as they can be carried out in a fashion that meets or exceeds factory equipment standards. Our team is deliberate about what we do when designing and installing a system. A prime example of a custom option to consider is the performance that can be had using the factory speaker allocation vs. how much improvement and what the final benefit is to modifying that part of the vehicle.
Is There Anything Else We Should Know About Method Sound?
Some of the best feedback we’ve received over the years is from clients who’ve had a chance to show their cars to other shops and service providers in the industry. We enjoy hearing our clients describe how the other guys said things like, “I know these panels are custom, but how did they make them out of plastic because they look like factory-made parts?” Or, “Where did they hide all the equipment?” We love comments like those. One more thing to keep in mind is that the same techniques used to build a custom system that displays all the equipment for show can also be used to build a stealth system for someone who needs all the same performance but wants to keep it hidden. One of our favorite things to do is make use of wasted space, allowing a high-performance sound system to be hidden in a vehicle without losing usable space or functionality. Things such as your ability to use the spare tire, fold down the seats or carry cargo shouldn’t be lost, so our design parameters build this functionality into our finished product.
Simple and Advance Fabrication Offered
The team at Method Sound works with wood, composites, metal and all sorts of upholstery materials. The reason for this is that every vehicle and every design is different. We don’t offer cookie-cutter solutions, but rather we take a clean-sheet-of-paper approach to each of our projects. The end result is higher performance, increased reliability, nicer cosmetics and better overall enjoyment of your ride. And in the end, shouldn’t that always be the case?
